+Pierre Jannin is an INSERM Research Director. From 2012, he has been heading the Inserm Research group **MediCIS** (Modeling Surgical Knowledge and Processes). He was awarded the PhD degree from the University of Rennes in 1988 on multimodal 3D imaging in neurosurgery. He is the Past President of the International Society of Computer Aided Surgery ([[http://www.iscas.net|ISCAS]]), was the President of ISCAS from 2014 to 2018 and the General Secretary from 2004 to 2014. He was board member of the [[http://www.miccai.org|MICCAI society]] from 2014 to 2018. He is senior member of the [[http://www.spie.org/|SPIE society]]. He is Editor in Chief of the journal [[https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/icsu21/current|Computer Aided Surgery]] by Taylor & Francis. He is Deputy Editor for the International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery ([[http://www.editorialmanager.com/jcars/|IJCARS]]).
